Welcome to the TelTel VoIP Portal Navigation Overview
Here you can browse a quick overview of our VoIP Portal web interface to get an idea of how easy it is to control your PBX. You will see screenshots of Extensions setup, Number Routing, How to port a number to the TelTel network and much much more.

Lets start with the Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first page you will see when logging into the VoIP Portal. Here you will see Current account balance and the most recent calls. If you have call recording enabled you will be able to play back recent recorded phonecalls directly from the Dashboard.
Next is the Menu Layout.
Lets go through the menu options. The menu on the left hand side is the main control hub of the VoIP Portal.
The most common used options are PBX Extensions and Number routing.
PBX Extensions is where you get all the details to connect a device.
Number routing is where you can Add, Remove and Route phone numbers.
Number Routing
Here is where you can Add, Remove and Route your phone numbers.
You can also add a Virtual Mobile number, 1300 and 1800 numbers or even get an International number.
Visualise Call Flow
Click on Visualise Call Flow is the easiest way to see what happens when you call your phone number.
Example: Dialing the incoming phone number can go directly to an extension or a more complex setup with Time switch -> IVR menu -> Ringroups and Voicemail etc.
PBX Extensions
PBX Extensions allows you to create new extension, edit extension details and get extension details to connect your phones.
Click on edit extension will give you access to the Cloud Softphone QR code to use with the TelTel Cloud Softphone App.
Adding a PBX Extension
After clicking Add extension you will see this pop-up box.
Simply add an Extension Number and an Extension Name then click Add Extension.
Now clicking on the newly created extension name will give you all the details needed to connect a device.
Most devices only require 3 details to connect to the TelTel network:
Registeration Name: ******
Password: ********
Hostname: pbx.teltel.com.au
Voicemail
Create a Voicemail Box, Set the Email address for your voicemails to be transcribed and emailed to.
Voicemail can be seen here, Sent to email and even accessed from an extension by dialing *97.
SMS Messaging
After you have added a Virtual mobile number you can link it to an SMS inbox. Here you can send and receive SMS messages. Unfortunately SMS function is NOT available on the Cloud Softphone App.
SMS can only be Sent from the VoIP Portal or Email
**SMS charges apply. 10 cents per message sent and free to receive SMS messages.
Call History
This is the easiest way to see all your call logs in one place, Call logs can be exported as CSV file.
