Getting TelTel NBN starts with a quick eligibility check, but connection depends on where you live and the NBN™ technology at your address (FTTP, FTTN, FTTB, FTTC, HFC, or FW). We might need to do a more detailed assessment. If we can’t connect you, we’ll be in touch to explore alternatives. We may need to cancel your order if we can’t contact you.

What is a speed tier?

Speed tiers provide an estimate of the fastest speed you could theoretically achieve at your location. However, a number of factors can affect your actual speed, so it may not always reach the maximum listed.

What internet speeds can I expect to receive from my plan?

Across Australia, TelTel offers various NBN® speed options, categorized by the maximum theoretical speeds available through our wholesale NBN® connection.

What are typical evening speeds?

Typical Evening Speeds represent the average speeds customers experience during peak hours (7pm-11pm). However, these are not guaranteed speeds. Your actual speed can be affected by several factors, including your modem/router, the number of users online, internet activity in your area, and the condition of the network infrastructure.

Can I use my own equipment? (Modem / Router)

You can use your own compatible modem or router. A complete setup also requires an NBN® connection box, and Fixed Wireless customers may need an NBN® outdoor antenna.
