Before you begin, ensure that you've created your extension in the VoIP Portal, www.voipportal.com.au To retrieve the details of an existing extension, or create a new extension, login to the VoIP Portal and select SIP Trunks or PBX Extensions from the menu. If you're creating a new extension, click the Add Extension button, fill in the details and click Save
*Note: if the extension is already configured on a device, you'll need to reconfigure, power down or factory reset the currently connected device before the required information will be displayed.
Connecting your Phone to your router.
Before starting, make sure to connect your phone to your routers Phone port 1. Your router should be connected as follows in the diagram below:

Step 1. Open up your web browser and navigate to your router’s login page. This can normally be accessed by entering 192.168.1.1 or http://tplinkwifi.net, but may be different depending on your configuration.
Step 2. Once logged in, select Basic, then choose Telephony.
Step 3. Select the + Add button to create a new account, then enter the following, copying the details from the VoIP Account Portal:
Telephony Provider: Other
Phone Number: Register Username
Registrar Address: SIP Proxy
Authentication ID: Register Username
Password: Extension Password
Registrar Port: 5060
SIP Proxy: SIP Proxy
SIP Proxy Port: 5060
Outbound Proxy: SIP Proxy
Outbound Proxy Port: 5060
Register via Outbound Proxy: Checked
Step 4. Once all fields are filled out, click Save.
If you have successfully registered your phone on the TelTel Network as seen in the VoIP Portal, and can receive calls via the phone number linked in your TelTel account.
However you can’t make outgoing calls. Follow these steps below:
Step 1. Open up your web browser and navigate to your router’s login page. This can normally be accessed by entering 192.168.1.1 or http://tplinkwifi.net, but may be different depending on your configuration.
Step 2. Once logged in, select Advanced, then choose Telephony.
Step 3. Select the “Enable Anonymous Call” and make sure it is Un-Checked
Step 4. Click Save
All other settings should stay the same.
