How to Check Registration Status

Once the trunk has been created, you can check its registration status under System StatusDashboard page.

Note: If status shows “Rejected”, it means that UCM6xxx didn’t get registered with the provider. Verify that
provider’s server is reachable from UCM6xxx and double confirm trunk credentials.

How to Set the Inbound Route

This will send all calls to the one phone. If you have multiple numbers you can use the dialing pattern to send different phone numbers to different phones. e.g. if you just type the whole number you have with us in international format in the pattern, then it would just match that number.

  1. Using the Menus panel, navigate to Extension / Trunk, then Inbound Routes, select the Trunk to add an inbound route
  2. Enter a dialing pattern in the Pattern textbox. To match all dialed numbers, enter: _X.
  3. In the Default Mode section, select an appropriate Default Destination to send the calls that match the dialing pattern to. (E.g. Your phone connected to UCM).
  4. Click Save and Apply changes to store and apply the configuration.

Note: If the pattern _X. or X.  isn’t working, you can do _0X. which will mean you will just have to dial the numbers in their full format, e.g. (07)12345678

How to Set the Outbound Route

You will need to set an outbound route so the calls go out that route if you don’t have one already.

  1. Using the Menus panel, navigate to Extension / Trunk, then Outbound Routes, Click on “Add” button to create a new outbound route
  2. Enter the Calling Rule Name
  3. Enter the Pattern, you can put: _X.
  4. choose “TelTel” in Main Trunk.
  5. Click Save and Apply changes to store and apply the configuration.
