How to connect the TelTel Cloud Softphone for desktop

  • Login and use the TelTel VoipPortal to get your extension details. www.voipportal.com.au
  • Download the Cloud Softphone app on to your computer.

(1) Log into the VoIP Portal


After logging in to the TelTel VoIP Portal, Navigate to "PBX Extensions" from the Menu on the Left hand side.

(2) Selecting your Extension


From the list of "Configured PBX Extensions", Click on your Extension name

Then toggle the "Cloud Softphone Desktop" on/off button.

(3) Purchasing Cloud Softphone for Desktop.

To confirm you wish to purchase this app, Click "OK"
*Note Cloud Softphone is charged at $3.95 per month on a month to month basis.

(4) Setup Cloud Softphone


Follow the steps in the pop-up screen; Click on "Download Cloud Softphone"

*Note Do not close this pop-up screen. Your download can now be found in your downloads folder.

(5) Cloud Softphone Download

The Cloud Softphone File name is "Latest.exe" and the File size is 231 MB.
Once the file is Downloaded, Open the file and follow the Install setup.

(6) Locate and Install the Cloud Softphone


Open the recently downloaded file and click "Next" to start the installation of the application

(7) Signing Into the App


Finally, Click the "SIGN IN" button to instantly connect your extension.

Alternatively, you can manually enter the Cloud ID and Password found at the bottom of the pop-up screen.

(8) Allow Default Calling


Here you will allow the Cloud Softphone to make and receive calls from your computer

Click "Next"

(9) Setup Complete


Well Done! Cloud Softphone is ready to use.

Click "Finish"

(10) Finished


You should now see the new Cloud Softphone Dial Pad,

If you have successfully connected your extension, You should see a Green Dot in the bottom left corner.

*Note If you see a Windows Security pop-up screen, You may need to Click "Allow"
