To allow you to set outbound CallerID you will need to:

* Request from TelTel support the ability to send custom outbound CallerID. This is not enabled by default on accounts.

Then you will need to modify your 3CX outbound trunk settings.

1) Select your TelTel Outbound Trunk settings

2) Click on the Outbound Parameters tab

Scroll down the list of parameters and change the following:

  • P-Asserted Identity: Display Name: Set to “OutboundCallerId”
  • P-Asserted Identity: User Part: Set to “OutboundCallerId”
  • P-Asserted Identity: Host Part: Set to “GWHostPort”
Note: You will only be able to send the callerID of the incoming numbers (DIDs) you own. These can be sent in E164 or standard Australian format.
